R®To Houts, Those who have made a careful study of the growing conditions of our mountain re gion predict that this year will see one of the most brilliant displays of fall colors in many yearso They make this prediction because the growing season has been unusual ly goods Tloere has been an abundance of rainy and every tree and shrub has put out a very heavy foliage* Those of us who look forward to this time of the year remember the times when the beauty of every mountain and hollow has reminded us that nowhere in all the world does nature pa3.nt a more brilliant cenvass than in our own mountains* To many of us this is the very best time of the year, and the memory of the colors, the cool, crisp days and the faint tangue of wood Gmoke in the air bring a feeling of wai^p nostalgia to our minds.
